Russia has lost 67,000 soldiers in the ongoing war against Ukraine. Russia also announced the loss of 515 fighter jets and helicopters.
Russia launched an attack on Ukraine last February in protest of Ukraine joining NATO forces. Russian forces have captured most of Ukraine in the war that has been going on for more than 8 months. At the same time, Russia, which is waging a war, has also suffered heavy losses.
According to the information published by the famous Ukrainian news agency “The Kiev Independent”, Russia has lost 67,470 Russian soldiers in the war against Ukraine so far. Similarly, Russia reported that it lost 2,584 artillery pieces, 260 fighter planes, 245 helicopters, 16 ships, 1,361 automatic aircraft, 5,248 armored assault vehicles, 4,039 Russian military vehicles, and 189 missile attack vehicles.
It is worth noting that Russian President Putin had ordered the mobilization of 3 lakh soldiers, and that Russian men should be forced to join the army in the last few weeks while the Russian forces have lost a lot in the war against Ukraine.
