Scientists discover gas samples older than the solar system on asteroid Ryugu

According to the newspaper Yomiuri, astronomers from Japan have found gas samples in the composition of matter from the asteroid Ryugu, which turned out to be older than the solar system.

It is specified that these samples were obtained using the Hayabusa-2 probe.

“The analysis showed that substances could have formed before the formation of the solar system 4.6 billion years ago,” the newspaper writes.
