Artist Revel Fedorov dies at 92

Soviet and Russian artist Revel Fedorov has died at the age of 92. This was announced by the head of the Chuvash Republic Oleg Nikolaev.

In his Telegram channel, Nikolaev expressed condolences to the artist’s family and friends, and also recalled that Fedorov’s works are kept in museums in Russia and other countries.

Fedorov was awarded the medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree, the Order of Merit for the Chuvash Republic, the Gold Medal of the Russian Academy of Arts and other awards. Many of his paintings are based on a combination of portrait and landscape.
