North Korea in dire warning: “fully prepared for nuclear war”
An aide to Kim Jong Un accused Washington of “plotting to topple the regime in North Korea as part of a deliberate policy,” apparently referring to the Pentagon’s recently released National Defense Strategy report. The report stated that “any nuclear attack by North Korea against The US or its allies and partners will bring an end to this regime.”
As a reminder, last night the US and South Korea began a joint military exercise of the air forces that will simulate a joint operation to deal with a potential threat from the neighbor to the north, which only last Thursday launched two short-range ballistic missiles off its eastern coast. The exercise of the two armies will include about 240 Fighter planes that will make about 1,600 sorties.
