He wrote in his new memoir: “I immediately turned on her, how could I not? I liked her and I got the feeling that she was also intrigued – maybe this was going to be something. And then I got two jobs in one day, so I called Jennifer and said, ‘You’re the first person I wanted Tell him that!'”. In the decades since, Perry has had a lot of time to think about how things were conveyed to Aniston and he reflects on it in his memoir: “In retrospect, it was clear that it made her think I liked her too much or in the wrong way… and I only made it worse when I suggested Let her go out with me.”
