Germany’s health minister, Jens Spahn, tweeted that the country has injected 656,357 doses in the past 24 hours. The Germans who received the first injection are 11.5 million, equal to just under 14% of the total, while 4.74 million have also received the recall.
This change of gear was also affected by the involvement of general practitioners who have been involved in the vaccination campaign throughout the country since Tuesday.
