Palakkad ∙ With the aim of developing a new football culture along with World Cup excitement, the One Million Goal campaign organized by the State Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Sports Council will start on 11th in the district. As part of this, football training is also being conducted in 71 centers of the district according to a specially prepared curriculum. Football training is given to one lakh students in the state for 10 days from 11th to 20th.

The goal is to convey the World Cup message to everyone, provide basic training to children interested in football, and provide expert training to those who excel. The program is in collaboration with Sports Council, Local Self-Government Institutions, Educational Institutions, various Sports Development Organizations, Youth Clubs, Resident Associations etc.

The One Million Goal campaign will be held on the 20th and 21st to capture the excitement when the World Cup kicks off in Qatar on the 20th. Goals will be scored on 20th from 2pm to 6pm and on 21st from 9am to 12pm. Santosh Trophy players are the ambassadors of the camp. Abdul Hakeem is the main ambassador of the district.
