New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that India will chair the G20 during the 75th year of independence celebrations. He said that the purpose of this conference to be held in December is to introduce our heritage to the world.
India will assume the presidency of G20 next December. Prime Minister Modi introduced the logo, theme and website for this. The theme is based on one earth, one family, one future.
Speaking after this, Prime Minister Modi said that the G20 symbol echoes global harmony. India will chair the G20 in December. I would like to congratulate the people of the country on this historic occasion of India assuming the presidency of G20.
The symbol of the G20 organization is not ordinary. It’s everyone’s feeling. India currently chairs the G20. During the 75th Independence Day celebrations, India took the lead.
After the independence of the country we started our journey towards development. It includes the efforts of all governments over the last 75 years. All the governments, the citizens, and the people have moved forward towards the development of the country.
The logo and motif represent our heritage. India has taken the lead in global issues. G20 countries account for 85 percent of global GDP.
Nature and development can travel together. India leads all in development. The G20 decides 75 percent of the world’s trade. The aim is to introduce our heritage to the world. Prime Minister Modi spoke thus.
