The Minister of State for External Affairs spoke on behalf of India at a joint conference on the 75th anniversary of India’s independence. He said that India has come a long way in the field of development in 75 years.

The minister added that India-Brazil relations have become stronger in different sectors like bio-energy, oil and natural gas, animal husbandry, health, defence, space research and cyber security.

Cooperation between the two countries in the field of biofuels will strengthen sustainable development. There has also been great progress in the India-Brazil trade and investment sectors. The Minister of State for External Affairs also pointed out that the huge boom in the Indian economy is increasing the possibilities.
