In the first unofficial Test against Bangladesh A, India A declared by scoring 562 runs in the first innings.

India A tour Bangladesh to play two unofficial Tests. The first test was a draw. The 2nd Test is underway. Former Sri Lanka player Shitansu Kodakum Troy Cooley as the head coach of India A team and D. Dileep also works as a fielding coach.

In the 2nd Test, India A won the toss and opted to field. The Bangladeshi batsmen were stumped by the tremendous bowling of fast bowler Mukesh Kumar. Only Shahadat Hussain and Jaker Ali played well and scored 80 and 62 runs respectively. Bangladesh A lost all wickets for 252 runs in 80.5 overs. 29-year-old Mukesh Kumar from Bengal took 6 wickets and Umesh Yadav and Jayant Yadav took 2 wickets each.

India A scored 324 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 90 overs at the end of Day 2. Captain Abhimanyu Iswaran was in the field with 144 and Jayant Yadav with 4 runs. Today, Abhimanyu Easwaran was bowled out for 157 runs. The lower middle order and lower order batsmen of India A team played tremendously and helped the Indian team cross 550 runs. Jayant Yadav scored 83, Selarab Kumar 55, Navdeep Saini 50 and Mukesh Kumar scored 23 runs.

In the first innings, India A declared 562 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 147.1 overs.
