A young acquaintance of the police was arrested for an attempt to steal from the turnover of a store in the city
A 23-year-old woman and two teenagers – aged 17 and 13, were caught by officers of the Third Regional Office in Plovdiv after a report of a robbery, the police said.
The work of the uniformed officers began last night at 9:00 p.m. when a man complained that he had been attacked by unknown persons on a street near the Arman neighborhood. The three forcibly took over BGN 100 and an identity card from him.
A little later, forensic experts tracked down the young woman and the boys. When they were caught, the three confessed to what they had done, the stolen goods were found and confiscated. Fast-track proceedings were initiated in the case.
Minutes after 6:30 p.m., a patrol of the Second Regional Office was directed to a report that in a grocery store on “Ivan Vazov” street, security guards caught a young man trying to steal money from the turnover. The perpetrator, a 22-year-old acquaintance of the police and a convicted felon, was taken into custody for a day. It is about to be submitted to the prosecutor’s office the materials for the fast-track proceedings.
