A blind old man at KGF; Actor Krishna Rao passed away

Veteran Kannada actor Krishna G. Rao (70) passed away. He died in Bangalore on Wednesday. Krishna rose to fame for his portrayal of a blind old man in the Yash starrer KGF franchise. He died while undergoing treatment in the hospital due to an old age-related illness.

After the release of KGF Chapter 1 in 2018, the actor acted in more than thirty films. Krishna’s dialogue in KGF 2, “Let me give you a piece of advice, don’t go standing in his way sir” became popular. Krishna was an assistant director in Kannada cinema for decades.

When Krishna G participated in the audition of KGF. Rao’s dialogue delivery impressed the producers and subsequently cast him. Along with the film, Krishna’s character also gained huge audience attention.

The actor’s upcoming film is Nano Narayanappa. He played the lead role in the film. The film, which is based on a true story, passed away days before its release.
