Salvadoran athlete Josselyn Portillo gave another bronze medal to El Salvador in the 68-kilogram category wrestling modality at the San Salvador 2023 Games.
Portillo, 28 years old, obtained his second bronze medal in this discipline that he has practiced for 18 years. The first was in Veracruz in 2014.
The athlete, who is the mother of two children, defeated the Dominican Gloria Segura on Friday with a score of 6-0. The Cuban Yaneles Hangelen was the gold medal, the Colombian Nicoll Parrado got the silver and the second bronze for the Mexican Ámba Garnica.
