The police have arrested 2 people on the basis of CCTV footage in the case of husband and wife’s throat slashing at Zamin Rayapettai next to Chrompettai, Chennai.
Arumugam-Manjula, who was living with her widowed elder daughter Vasanthi, is said to have settled in another house separately, disliking Vasanthi’s inappropriate activities.
In this case, Ammu Chitlapakkam, the younger daughter who was shocked to see both of them murdered, informed the police.
After examining the footage recorded on the CCTV cameras near the house where the murder took place, the police arrested the two killers who were lurking in Andhra Pradesh.
The CCTV footage shows the elder girl Vasanthi identifying her parents’ house to a person during the day and the killers killing Arumuga and his wife Manjula and fleeing at night.
Through this, it was revealed that Vasanthi’s fake boyfriend Moses and her nephew Anand had committed the murder together.
