A “city” of roses was founded in Aparan (Video)

In Aparan, rich in sunny days, on the slope of the mountain, the city of roses opens. In the 2.5 hectare greenhouse there are only Dutch roses – aromatic, colorful and unique species.

A fully automated, 4th generation greenhouse was established in 2019 in Saralanj. “Rose Field” company faced many difficulties at the beginning, but there was a unifying idea. to create an Armenian floral paradise. 18 types of Dutch roses are presented here, which, in addition to the local market, will also be exported to EAEU countries.

The greenhouse is now a workplace for 35 families, by the end of the year they plan to have 85 workplaces and expand to other regions of Armenia.

The partners of “Rose Field” company are Akba Bank and AGBA Leasing, a member of the financial group, who supported the implementation of the greenhouse idea even in the most difficult year.

“We started the construction of the greenhouse with the pandemic, then the 44-day war, but our supply and financing did not stop all the time. Akba Bank believed in us from the very first moment, stood by us, and during the entire period of work, our relations were not only partnership, but much more warm and friendly,” says Hayk Vardanyan, director of “Rose Field” company.
