On February 18, a concert dedicated to the memory of the People’s Artist of the USSR, outstanding Azerbaijani performer Rashid Behbudov (1915 – 1989) will take place in the hall of the Opera Studio at the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, Day.Az reports.
The concert program will feature performances by the orchestra and soloists of the Ganja State Philharmonic, national pop stars – Abbas Ahmed, Sarkhan Sarkhan and others.
The evening will feature legendary songs from the repertoire of Rashid Behbudov.
Let us note that Beibutov’s song repertoire was very wide. The main place in it was occupied by the works of Azerbaijani composers, as well as Azerbaijani folk songs and songs of other peoples.
The concert will take place at 17:00 and 20:00.
