2021 On November 5 at 10:00 a.m. in the conference hall of the “RADISSON BLU HOTEL, YEREVAN” hotel (Yerevan city, Azatutyan Ave. 2/2 building), the local forum for the recruitment of SMEs in Armenia will start within the framework of the “Trade Bridges” project. which is held within the framework of the joint operational program of the Black Sea Basin.
The organizers are the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Armenia and “Eventcenter” company.
The main objectives of the joint project “Trade Bridges” are the reduction of existing barriers between agriculture and producers and consumers related to the sector of the four EU partner countries, the development of the TRADE BRIDGES NETWORK, the implementation of SME trainings, the organization of “BRIDGES” events and, as a result, the creation and development of new trade links. :
In order to implement the program more effectively, researches on international trade of agricultural and related products were conducted in advance, as well as potential beneficiary companies were identified. The researches were carried out in order to identify the sub-sectors-products that can contribute to the strengthening of business and trade relations between the beneficiary countries.
The program is expected to have a permanent and continuous impact on agriculture and related sectors, as well as to expand the trade links already established.
Taking into account the many similar projects implemented by the European Union, in order to solve the problems of the above-mentioned project and get positive results, a conference for the recruitment of Small and Medium Enterprises in agriculture and related fields of the Republic of Armenia is organized. Preliminary studies were conducted in order to include the potential beneficiaries of that sector in the program. During the conference, the nature, content and procedures of the project, as well as the implementation methods and expected results, will be presented and explained in detail. As a result of the analysis of the questionnaires filled by the participants, the final beneficiaries of the program will be selected within a maximum of 10 days. The entire selection process will be conducted exclusively in simple and transparent conditions, all participating SMEs will be informed in writing about the results.
In the next stages of the project, training courses, a “BRIDGES” event in Armenia will be organized, as well as the participation of SMEs selected by the Armenian side in two-day “BRIDGES” events in partner countries (Greece, Moldova, Romania), 6 buyers from Armenia will go to each country.
Such measures contribute to the establishment of direct mutually beneficial production and commercial cooperation between businessmen of the regions.
