According to the investigation, at about 7 p.m., a 52-year-old man, driving a tractor-trailer with a trailer, was moving along 50 Let VLKSM Street. While turning left, he collided with a motorcycle moving in the opposite direction.
As a result of the accident, the 29-year-old motorcycle driver and a passenger, whose identity is being established, were killed. The driver of the truck was not injured.
Investigators, traffic police officers and SSSE specialists inspected the scene of the incident. A criminal case was initiated under Part 3 of Article 317 (violation of traffic rules by a person driving a vehicle, resulting in the death of two persons through negligence) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
