/ American stock indices recorded a slight decline at the beginning of their trading on Wednesday, while they closed yesterday, Tuesday, with a sharp decline.

The S&P 500 index settled near the level of 5,200.84 points, with a slight decrease of 0.09%.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average traded unchanged at 39,175 points.
The Nasdaq Composite Index fell by about 0.35%, reaching the level of 16,183 points.
It is noteworthy that American stock indices had closed trading in their last session, yesterday, Tuesday. All of its major indices declined, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average ended trading with a decline of 1.00%, or about 396.61 points, reaching the level of 39,170.24 points.
The S&P 500 index concluded the last session with a strong decline of 0.72%, reaching 5,205.81 points. Likewise, the Nasdaq Composite Index fell by 0.94%, or about 171.42 points, to reach the level of 18,121.78 points at the end of American stock market trading.
