A full-length film born of a single shot; Nine years after the birth of the experimental film – CINEMA – NEWS

by time news

Nine years ago, when the idea of a full-length film was put forward in a single shot, many producers of Malayalam cinema could not adapt to that experiment. Shebi Chougat, a director from Thrissur who came from the institute, is considered by many to be a crazy dream.

But when that dream came true, the critically acclaimed film Tourist Home was born. That was the time when John Joseph, the owner of Mega Media Studio, was planning to make a movie. She told two stories of her acquaintance with him. The first is the story of a single shot film that tells the lives of different rooms in a tourist home.

The second is the story of a young man who wins a jewelry lottery and gets the chance to live in a house with a famous model. When John Joseph agreed to make a single shot film first, a different experimental film was born in Malayalam.

Though not a tourist home in the state, the film caught the attention of the audience in Tamil six years ago when it was remade in a single shot as Chennai Viduthi. Chennai has been screened at 32 film fests, including in Latin American countries.
