The Museu dels Sants d’Olot traces a journey through the many faces of anger from the works from its fund and from the collection of the Vila Casas Foundation.
Until October 29, the Olotí museum hosts Sicronies 2. La ira, the second exhibition of a project dedicated by the foundation and the museum to the seven deadly sins and that it is not located in a specific room but that the visitor will discover it along the itinerary through the equipment.
In this second installment, curated by Natàlia Chocarro, “one becomes aware of the permanence of anger” from a game of mirrors between the works of the two institutions that “works by affinity and by difference” and which allows us to discover the multiple forms of the concept, such as torture, war or submission.
Chema Madoz, Anna Malagrida, Sants Montes, Mapi Rivera, Agustí Roqué, Isabel Rocamora and Alisa Sibirskaya they are the contemporary artists who compare their works with the pieces from the Museu dels Sants, such as a mask by Josep Clarà, a bust of Saint Cecília by Josep Berga i Boada or the Christ of Peace.
