Rajendran (age 45) belongs to Kallipalayam, Coimbatore. His wife is Devi (33). They have 2 children Darnish and Vasulekha.
In this situation, both husband and wife were working as temporary cleaners in Boolupatti Municipal Office. They left for work yesterday morning at 6 o’clock as usual. Rajendran drove the bicycle.
A government bus collided
While going near Alandara Government High School, the government bus coming behind suddenly collided with the bicycle. Rajendran and Devi were thrown and fell on the road and got seriously injured.
Ignoring this, the driver continued driving the bus. Due to this they got stuck in the wheel of the bus. Due to this, the body was crushed and the husband and wife died on the spot. And their bodies were dragged to a distance of about 100 meters. Seeing this, the neighbors shouted. The driver immediately stopped the bus.
Driver Saran
Alandara police was informed about this. The police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies of the 2 deceased and sent them to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Meanwhile, the driver who caused the accident, Kubendran (38) from Usilampatti, Madurai district, surrendered at Thondamuthur police station with the government bus.
