A lawyer working on sexual abuse cases was arrested for possession of child pornography

A lawyer from South Florida, in the United States, who specializes -and thus promotes his services- in “representing sex crime survivors” was arrested and must appear in federal court after a search at his Miami home, where FBI agents discovered thousands of downloaded files on child pornographyThe intervening prosecutor’s office reported this Wednesday.

Michael T. Dolce, 53a lawyer from West Palm Beach, north of the resort city, will appear this Thursday in federal court of that city for his first court appearance, the Attorney for the Southern District of Florida said in a statement on Wednesday.

Local 10 of southeast Florida reported that, based on his Linkedin profile, Dolce is partner at the law firm of Cohen, Milstein, Sellers & Toll, en Palm Beach Gardens, y sexual abuse team leadersex trafficking and domestic abuse from that buffet.

In his profile on the platform where he offers and looks for work, it is detailed that he is a “highly prestigious litigation lawyer and political activist (…) who dedicated to representing survivors of sexual crimesincluding child and adult victims, and adult survivors of child sexual abuse“.

According to the affidavit released by the Prosecutor’s Office, on March 15, FBI agents executed a search warrant at Dolce’s apartment in West Palm Beach.

There they discovered that the lawyer “actively downloaded child pornography using peer-2-peer software”.

“Nearly 2,000 images and videos of child pornography were recovered from their devices,” the statement said.

According to a federal criminal complaint cited by Local 10, the images and videos showed girls up to 5 yearss.

This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood (PSC), a national initiative launched in May 2006 by the US Department of Justice “to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse“.

Lench to review the decision. “I think Weinstein should be punished for any crime, even though he has been convicted in New York and Los Angeles for his crimes against women. He wanted him to take responsibility for what he did to me,” he launched.
