A message to Iran? The IDF today (Monday) began the “Juniper Oak” exercise together with the United States Army’s Central Command. The exercise will test the joint Israeli-American readiness and improve the operational relationship between the two armies. Also, the exercise will simulate an attack on targets and practice Complex outlines combined with joint communication, command and control systems.As a result, the active movement of the security forces will be felt across the country and the echoes of explosions will be heard in the red zone.

As part of the exercise, the Navy’s missile ships and a submarine will perform a joint naval maneuver, together with an American aircraft carrier. In addition, the heart of the sea will be refueling Saar type 5 missile ships, by an American tanker, to expand the ranges and areas of operation of the IDF in routine and emergency situations. Also, during the exercise, the air, sea and land forces of the two armies will fire at targets simulating naval days .

The Israeli and American air forces will practice sorties in cooperation with fighter planes, transports, rescue and rescue helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles, reconnaissance planes and heavy American bombers, and will even drop weapons in the south of the country. In addition, in the exercise in which the Israeli refueling planes of the “Ram” type and the future refueling planes of the IDF will participate, American KC46s are being refueled, which will refuel the fighter planes and bombers.

As part of the joint exercise, the ground forces will hold a joint exercise that will include maneuvering and firing dozens of rockets, during which long-range rockets will be launched from the American HIMRAS system and from Israeli launchers. The IDF stated that “this is another layer that strengthens the multi-faceted and international methods of action between the armies, to deal with a variety of threats in the region.”
