A mother and her minor child 15 tohave been seriously injured in Ceuta after receiving gunshots after a family dispute held in the home where they resided, being shot by a direct relative of the wounded.
According to police sources, the event occurred yesterday afternoon in the area known as “New Houses” on the Prince Alfonso neighborhoodwhen the residents of the area themselves alerted the police that shots had been heard inside one of the houses.
The agents went to the scene and found the woman and her son wounded by gunshots inside the house, while the shooter had fled.
Both the mother and her son were evacuated from the emergency room to the University Hospital of Ceuta, with the woman having a gunshot wound to the chestwhile his son had also been hit by a bullet on part of the neck and face.

In the first place, the author of the shots -whose whereabouts are unknown- shot the woman and later her sonwho stood in the middle of the ria to prevent him from shooting his mother again.
The woman was evacuated at 10:00 p.m. last night to the Puerta del Mar Hospital in Cádiz with a reserved prognosis, while the minor is admitted, in serious condition, to the ICU of the Ceuta University Hospital.
The National Police has opened an investigation to arrest the author of the shotswhich is fully identified, after the agents collected several shell casings last night inside the home where the event occurred.
Several witnesses to the events warned the police that the man quickly fled after having fired the shots.
