Ajay Jadeja has spoken about what happened after Sachin Tendulkar lost his wicket to Zimbabwean bowler Henry Olongo in the Coca-Cola Champions Trophy tri-series.
The Indian team is on tour in Zimbabwe for a three-match ODI series. Although India does not play Zimbabwe every year, the 1990s were the most regular matches between the two teams. One of the most memorable series was the Coca-Cola Champions Trophy tri-series between India, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka.

However, Ajay Jadeja, who now remembers that match, said, “Sachin was out on a short pitch ball thrown by Henry Olongo. That ball really affected Sachin a lot. He did not sleep for the next two days. He looked sad all night. “We have never seen him like that.”
However, in the final of the series against Zimbabwe, India won by 10 wickets with the help of Sachin’s stunning century.

India and Zimbabwe last met in 2016. The two teams are meeting each other only now. The Zimbabwean series has always been a series that is played by name. That too BCCI always selects 2nd class team. But before 2000, the India-Zimbabwe series would fly away. The former Zimbabwean team has now become the Kathikutty team. As a result, the senior players of the opponents are rested and the 2nd grade youth team plays there.
