At the session of October 20, the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs discussed the legislative package “On Amendments to the Law “On State Technical Control in the Energy Sector and Energy Consumption” and “On Amendments to the Law “On Energy”.
Artur Asoyan, the head of the coordination office of the inspection bodies of the RA Prime Minister’s Office, noted that a number of technical regulations provided by the EAEU agreement and legislation will no longer work, so there is a need to define the requirements and conditions set by these technical regulations with other legal acts. Legal foundations will be created for the implementation of normal activities and state technical control in the field of energy and energy consumption in accordance with the procedure established by RA legislation.
As a result of the vote, the legislative package received a positive conclusion.
The bill “On ratifying the protocol of the Republic of Armenia “On the introduction of uniform forms of the passport of the vehicle (passport of the vehicle frame) and the passport of self-propelled vehicles and other types of equipment and on the organization of electronic passport systems” of August 15, 2014″ was submitted for consideration. RA Deputy Minister of Economy Varos Simonyan.
Creation of a unified information field is planned for the purpose of introducing uniform forms of vehicle passport (vehicle frame passport) and passport of self-propelled vehicles and other types of equipment and organizing electronic passport systems in the territory of EAEU member states. There will be uniform conditions of access to information, a centralized system for maintaining the integrity of information, as well as equal opportunities for data verification and monitoring, and a uniform system for issuing and formulating electronic passports for vehicles.
Varos Simonyan informed that there is a reservation for our country. the effect of the agreement does not extend to the vehicles of the RA armed forces, other troops, self-propelled vehicles and other types of equipment and vehicles of special services.
