Photos of the folding smartphone Vivo X Fold 3 have appeared online, the screen of which displays the interface of the macOS operating system on which Apple computers run. This was reported by the GizmoChina portal with reference to WhyLab insider, Day.Az reports with reference to Gazeta.ru.

According to the source, the new Vivo smartphone may have the function of remote control of Apple computers. It is not reported how support for computers on macOS will be implemented. It also remains unknown whether Apple is involved in the development of the software.

Vivo probably intends to attract Apple users who have long wanted to try foldable smartphones with this feature. According to rumors, Apple itself is in no hurry to release an iPhone with a flexible screen, and its first such device will be the iPad, which may not come out until next year.

According to rumors, Vivo X Fold 3 will receive a screen with a resolution increased to 2480×2200 pixels versus 1916×2160 in X Fold 2, and the resolution of the external display will be increased to 2748×1172 pixels. The smartphone is also credited with a 50-megapixel main camera, support for 50 W wireless charging and a 5600 mAh battery. Two versions may go on sale – Vivo X Fold 3 and Pro version. The date of the presentation has not yet been disclosed.
