“These are people suffering from symptoms of fever, cough, sore throat, headache and muscle pain,” noted Dr. David Zlotnik, an expert in family medicine and emergency medicine.
According to him, “the sharp increase in cases of corona or influenza who apply to the centers creates a great burden, when in the next two weeks we expect another increase in applications, and we are preparing with increased teams all over the country.” Before we mentioned that the data from the Ministry of Health shows that every day more than 1,200 new people are infected with Corona, and about 500 more seriously ill patients were added only in the last month.
Dr. Zlotnik added: “We recommend that high-risk patients first get the flu and corona vaccinations, and in the case of illness, get both tests because the symptoms of the two diseases are similar.”
