A German soldier turned himself in to the police this Friday after killing four people last night, including a child.in the federal state of Lower Saxony (west), as reported by the Police and the Prosecutor’s Office in a joint statement reported by Efe.
According to the newspaper Bild, among the victims are, In addition to the minor, the soldier’s ex-wife, her new partner and her mother-in-law.
It adds that the Police were alerted to a shooting around 03:30 local time (02:30 GMT) in a single-family home in the town of Scheeel, after which several agents went to the scene, cordoned off the area and entered the property.

The suspect, a soldier of the Bundeswehr, the German Armed Forces, surrendered shortly after the crime and was detained by police officers.
The motive for the crime is unknown, but it is not ruled out that it is related to the family environment, the statement added.
