On the territory of the district named after Lazo of the Khabarovsk Territory, a special fire regime was established. Measures were taken in connection with the increased threat of landscape fires, the press service of the governor and the government of the region reports.
A number of additional restrictions have been introduced to prevent fires in the district. In particular, it is forbidden to make fires, burn vegetation, carry out hot work, and burn garbage. A special fire regime will operate until special orders, specifies IA AmurMedia.
As explained by the regional government committee on civil protection, such restrictions are now in force in all municipalities. In some, a ban on visiting forests has been introduced.

Every year, with the onset of the dry autumn period, the number of fires in the Irkutsk region increases. This is mainly due to the fact that tenants and owners of farmland do not clean up dry grass and debris on time, and many prefer to burn them, which leads to fires, the Civil Protection Committee added.
