Friday 10 September returns in prime time, at 9.35 pm, on Canale 5 “A Star Is Born”: the film marked Bradley Cooper’s directorial debut and consecrated Lady Gaga as an actress. Presented out of competition in Venice in 2018, it is the fourth remake of “A star is born”: the original film of 1937 with Janet Gaynor and Fredric March inspired other remakes, that of 1954 with Judy Garland and James Mason and that of 1976 with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.
