The kitchen of the old house should be renovated and built. KT with demand. Designer Shafiq was approached by Bakr Jamal and his wife Sabna. When the work was completed and the kitchen was seen, the family decided to completely renovate the house. That’s how the need to polish the face of the house again reached the hands of designer Shafiq.

The house is in Kuttipara near Mancheri in Malappuram district. The house is arranged in an orthogonal concept. The flooring of the old kitchen was one step lower. Due to space constraints, no more cabinets were possible. That’s how the designer decides to renovate the kitchen in the style of an island kitchen. A TV unit and a breakfast table are also provided. The kitchen cabinets are topped with Nano White and the walls are tiled with Moroccan tiles.

After the work of the kitchen was completed, the interior work of the house was started. The old tiles have been replaced with Italian marble in the living room and kitchen. Other rooms are also provided with large size tiles of the same design. When the front of the house was renovated, the size of the front door was also increased. The new car has been converted into a large room by adding the existing bedroom on top of the porch.

The wall of the living room was demolished and the interior partition was given. A TV unit is also included in it. One wall of the living room was given Baneer Gru design and texture paint. Metal art has also been added to enhance it.

Along with the master bedroom, some more space has been added and converted into a large bedroom. Separate area for wardrobe and dressing table is also set. That is why there is a need for free space in the bedroom. The bed and headboard are made of plywood – veneer combination. A gypsum – veneer combination was used for the ceiling.

Along with the renovation of the house, the old sofas and the furniture including the dining table were also renovated. Hammocks were provided on the balcony at the top of the house and the sitting area at the bottom. Upstairs, the renovated bedroom has large uPVC doors. Along with this, wooden strip tile is used on the floor of this bedroom. Planter boxes are provided in the sitting area and veneer design is provided in the ceiling with profile light.
