The survey involved 2,680 Russians over 18 years old, 53% of them said they had been vaccinated against coronavirus.

According to analysts, more than half of the vaccinated Russians support the introduction of QR codes, and among those who have not been vaccinated, only 7%. More often than others, older people support this measure – 43% of respondents over 55 versus 30% of respondents aged 25-34. Restrictions for unvaccinated Russians are ready to support 29% of respondents, as well as half of the vaccinated respondents.

The residents of the Samara region – 42%, Moscow – 39%, Krasnoyarsk region – 39%, St. Petersburg – 36%, Rostov region – 35%, Bashkortostan – 35%, Novosibirsk region – 34%, Tatarstan support the introduction of QR codes most of all. – 33%. Among representatives of various professions, doctors most often support QR codes – 51%.

On November 12, against the backdrop of an increase in morbidity and mortality from covid, as well as high tension in the medical system, the government introduced to the lower house of parliament initiatives on the mandatory use of QR codes in public places, as well as on intercity and international transport. The State Duma is to adopt the bill on the introduction of QR codes in public places on December 16, the bill on QR codes in transport has been withdrawn from consideration.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said that QR codes can also be obtained by those Russians who received a positive PCR test for coronavirus after January 1, 2021, but did not go to the doctor. If the test reveals they have antibodies to the virus, they will be issued a certificate valid for a year. If a person has not tested positive for coronavirus, but has antibodies to it, he will receive a certificate of having been ill for six months. A certificate with the same validity period will be received by Russians who were vaccinated with a foreign vaccine and passed an antibody test.
