The group of young scientists of the 1st Lyceum of Rhodes, with the cooperation of their Science teachers, presented in an admirable way and with particular enthusiasm on Saturday, April 20, 2024, in the school’s event hall, natural science experiments (Physics-Chemistry-Biology). This wonderful action was also framed by an audio-visual presentation that captured the experiences of the students from their educational visit to the CERN nuclear research center and the experiment they performed, while at the same time there was also a quite interesting demonstration of Robot programming and operation using special Lego kit. Through this process, the students gained experiences and skills, cultivated a spirit of cooperation and adopted a scientific way of thinking and reasoning. We sincerely thank the numerous audience who honored us with their presence at this celebration of science and technology and admired the children’s effort to bridge the achievements of science with their use in everyday life.
Responsible teachers were:
Ø Christina Angelidis, Biologist, M.Ed.
Ø Mary Karagiannis, Chemist, M.Sc.
Ø Kefalakis Pavlos, Informatics, Physicist, M.Sc, PhD(c)
