The Muscat Governorate Police Command has arrested a man for speeding and recklessly endangering the public.

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police has announced that a young man has been arrested for speeding in Oman. The action is for behaving in such a manner as to threaten one’s own life and the lives of others. The incident took place in Muscat Governorate.
In a statement issued by the police, the Muscat Governorate Police Command has arrested a man for driving at excessive speed and recklessly and in a manner that endangers the public. Officials have also informed that legal action is being taken against him.
A group of expatriate women have been arrested by the Royal Oman Police for engaging in acts against public decency in Oman. The incident took place in Al Dahira Governorate.
According to a statement released by the Royal Oman Police, the Asian expatriate women were arrested. But the authorities have not released the information of which country they belong to. Royal Oman Police informed that further action is being taken against all those arrested.

In Oman, the authorities seized the learning materials and other goods of prohibited colors the other day. These were found during the inspection conducted by the Consumer Protection Authority in various business establishments in the country.
According to an official statement released by the Oman Consumer Protection Authority, the inspection conducted by the Consumer Protection Department in South Al Sharqia Governorate also seized educational materials with signs and colors contrary to public etiquette. Officials informed that the department has taken measures related to this.
