As per the order of Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission, the Tamil Nadu government has ordered that the people receiving free and subsidized electricity should link their Aadhaar number with their electricity consumer number.
According to this, the Tamil Nadu government has ordered that those who get 100 units of free electricity, those who get free electricity for agriculture, those who get free electricity for public places of worship, those who get free electricity for power looms, those who get free electricity for handloom and those who get subsidized and free electricity should link their Aadhaar number with the electricity consumer number.
