With the screening of the film “À propos de Joan” (101΄, France, 2022, About Joan) by Laurent Larivière, at the Photometria Photography Center, the Greek-French Association of Ioannina continues the successful action of Ciné français.
Joan has always been an independent, loving woman with a free and adventurous spirit. When her first love unexpectedly returns after years of absence, she decides not to tell him that they had a son together. This lie is an opportunity for her to reexamine her life: her youth in Ireland, her professional success, her loves and her relationship with her son. A complete life, or so it seems…
