The collegiate of the Academic Master in Sociobiodiversity and Sustainable Technologies (Masts) of the University of International Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusofonia (Unilab) opens registration for the selective process of admission to Masts (year 2023), from 10 July to 10 August 2023.
The Board of Masts will set up a Commission to carry out the selection process stipulated in this Publishing Masts nº 01/2023. The number of vacancies offered by the Master will be a total of 15 vacancies.
Registrations
Holders of undergraduate degrees in any area of knowledge are eligible for registration. Only holders of graduation titles from courses recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC) will be considered qualified.
The Academic Master’s Degree in Sociobiodiversity and Sustainable Technologies will only accept applications electronically. For this purpose, all documents requested for registration must be scanned in.pdf format and sent to the course’s electronic address: ([email protected]), from 10 July to 10 August 2023.
Process
All stages of the selection process will be carried out in person.
The selection process will comprise the following eliminatory and classificatory evaluations: evaluation of the research project, written evaluation, face-to-face interview, analysis of the Curriculum Vitae/Lattes and hetero-identification bank, according to item 4.6 of the Publishing Masts nº 01/2023.

Masts receives master’s scholarships from the Social Demand quota, made available by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel and scholarships from the Cearense Foundation for Scientific and Technological Development (Funcap), an agency linked to the Secretariat of Science, Technology and Higher Education ( Secitece/CE) and Unilab.
About or Masts
The Master’s seeks interdisciplinary training aimed at promoting the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity, through reflection and the production of knowledge about the development, dissemination and consumption of sustainable technologies. In this sense, the Master includes both the formulation of technologies aimed at confronting the issues that occupy the national and international agendas on the conservation and rational use of natural resources, as well as the production of knowledge about the dynamics and social strategies in dealing with the nature.
the graduate in the strict sense accepts graduates in the various areas of knowledge interested in addressing the issues discussed by him, within the scope of his Lines of Research and respective axes, namely:
Line 1 – Technologies and Sustainable Development
Axis 1: Biotechnology applied to sustainable development through the use of natural resources;
Axis 2 – Data science, computational and socio-environmental methods;
Axis 3 – Green chemistry and sustainability;
Axis 4 – Agroecology and food security;
Axis 5 – Integration of educational processes and sustainable practices: strategies to promote students’ environmental awareness.
Line 2 – Sociobiodiversity and Sustainability
Axis 1 – Socio-historical conformation, natural resources and agrobiodiversity.
