ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE Bank will serve Chinese UnionPay cards

As a result of the cooperation of ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOL Bank and the Chinese UnionPay International, the service of UnionPay cards was launched in Armenia.

Within the scope of cooperation, UnionPay cardholders will have the opportunity to make payments with their cards through POS terminals of AKBA-CREDIT AGRICOL Bank throughout Armenia, as well as withdraw money from all ATMs of AKBA-CREDIT AGRICOL Bank.

“Today is a very significant day for us. we signed an agreement, which will allow us to serve UnionPay cards, one of the most dynamically developing payment systems in Armenia, and in this framework, Armenia will become more comfortable for tourists, because according to all forecasts, the volume of tourism in Armenia will increase year by year, and this year we have already registered a rather serious increase, in particular From the People’s Republic of China. ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE Bank services the cards issued by the largest number of payment systems in Armenia and we hope to be able to serve UnionPay cards at all our service points very soon. UnionPay International (UPI) is a subsidiary of China UnionPay. Payments are made with UnionPay International cards in about 177 countries of the world, 55 of which also issue UnionPay cards.
