Thiruvananthapuram – The person accused of adopting a child without the mother’s knowledge has been appointed as a member of the Child Rights Commission. Child Welfare Committee Chairperson N. Sunanda has been appointed as a member of Child Rights Commission. It was mentioned in the Commission of Inquiry report that despite the mother’s search for the child, the adoption was not stopped.
Sunanda also cooperated in adopting Anupama’s baby from the Thiruvananthapuram Child Welfare Committee. Later, the baby was brought home from the adopter and the baby was returned to Anupama. Child Rights Commission is a judicially empowered commission to protect the rights of children.
