Israel’s youth team in open water swimming and the cadet team in swimming recorded excellent results in this season’s international goal competitions. In the youth team, the one who stood out above them all was 16-year-old Omar Schwartz, who finished in sixth place in the 7.5 km time trial in a time of 1:49:47 hours. This is the second achievement in the nature of an Israeli swimmer in history, 2016.
In the 10 km relay, Yonatan Ahdut finished in eighth place with 1: 51.38 hours, while in the women’s Orin Kablan finished 15. In the 5 km relay, Yotam Warszewski finished in 13th place, in his first international competition in his career. For dessert, the Apostles up to the age of 16 finished in fifth place in the 4×1.25 km Mix, with the composition of Yotam Warszewski, Ofek Adir, Omer Schwartz and Eden Flores Partin. Finished in eighth place in the ointment.The entire team was ranked seventh in the team scoring table out of 21 teams.

At the same time, the cadet and cadet team finished its participation in the championship of the Mediterranean countries (Komen) in Cyprus with nine medals. Daniel Darbatzov won gold in the 100 butterfly, Okan Goldin the silver in the 100 backstroke and Bard in the double distance. Also added were bronze medals Niv Cohen (100 backstroke), Itai Rosenfeld (100 butterfly), Daniel Rabinovich (400 freestyle), 4×200 freestyle relay and 4×50 mixed relay and 4×100 freestyle mixed. In the overall scoreboard, the team finished in the excellent third place out of 12 teams. The team was led by head coach Jonathan Kopalev, along with the team Yamit Libster, Vladi Radowski and her father Naftali.
