Action Against Blasters?; The organizers are worried about the season ban

by time news

Action is possible based on the match commissioner’s report against Kerala Blasters who left the field before finishing the match in protest at the farewell goal in ISL. The decision will be taken after hearing the Blasters’ complaint. Blasters are yet to comment on their withdrawal from the competition.

According to AIFF’s disciplinary criteria, a team that refuses to complete the league matches will be penalized with a loss of three goals and a fine of Rs.6 lakh. Depending on the seriousness of the offence, it may result in a season ban or a heavy fine.

Blasters are one of the most valuable clubs in the ISL by popularity. Therefore, the organizers are worried that banning the team for the season will harm the league.

Blasters official response may be after knowing the procedures from ISL side. It is to be expected that the ISL organizers will move on to other procedures after this.
