Arrival at Madurai
Minister of the Department M. Subramanian arrived in Madurai yesterday by plane to participate in the programs organized by the People’s Welfare Department in Madurai and Dindigul districts.

Various measures are being taken to improve the quality of life of herbal farmers in Tamil Nadu. As its main program, cultivation of Ashwagandha herbal crop is implemented in 200 acres area in Dindigul district. The steps to be taken before the onset of the Northeast Monsoon have been discussed in detail. Ministers, Deputy Secretaries and officials of People’s Welfare Department, Urban and Rural Local Government Departments held consultations in Chennai and made progress.
Fever camps
For the past 20 days, special monsoon medical camps and fever camps have been conducted at more than a thousand places by the People’s Welfare Department. Out of this, 20 lakh people have been tested and medicines and tablets have been given. In this way, these medical camps are being conducted in thousands of places every day. Apart from this, 389 mobile medical vehicles are conducting fever tests for students.
Last 20 days ago in Tamil Nadu H.1 N.1 virus fever came from more than 300 people every day. Now that number is down to less than 30. Dengue and H1N1 virus fever is under control.
Complaint against Nayanthara
There is no shortage of medicines in Tamil Nadu. Madurai also has a drug depot. Go and see for yourself. Tell me if there is a shortage.
