Russian actor Maxim Matveev said that he did not leave the theater forever. But now he must give all his attention to raising children. Therefore, he left the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater and left the troupe of the Oleg Tabakov Theater.
He said that while it is difficult for him to find motivation for theatrical creativity. Matveyev explained that he must be seized by a powerful idea that will justify his absence in front of the children and himself.
“If I understand that the thought inherent in the performance is relevant, that it is interesting to talk about it, then, of course, I will go on stage. Until such ideas penetrate into my space, ”concluded Matveev.
