Munich – Knot by knot to the macrame model: Actress Judith Jelena Paus (30) has beautifully combined her passion for handwork with a lucrative business idea.
“I’ve always liked to crochet, knit, and do handicrafts,” says the Munich actress (“Enfant Terrible”, “Dem Horizont so nah”). “And when Corona came, there were hardly any film jobs, so I put my knot instructions on the Internet to do it yourself.” There is also an online shop where she sells the right yarn packages.

“Knotting is addictive,” says the 30-year-old. Fans and followers on youtube and Instagram are enthusiastic about their do-it-yourself videos (DIY) to imitate. The trendsetter has just published her first book: “Fashion Makramee” (Frechverlag, 22 euros).

And the nimble-fingered actress with a second home in Berlin even made it onto TV: “Since 2021 I can be seen at the ARD Buffet with my ideas as a creative expert,” says Judith Jelena Paus happily.
