Former Minister RP Udayakumar, who met the media on a regular basis, said the AIADMK government had allocated Rs 1 crore 47 lakh for allotting 5 acres of land to set up a memorial hall for the martyrs on the eve of the centenary celebrations at the site of the Perungamanallur massacre, also known as the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in the south. , AIADMK co-ordinator said that we have paid our respects as per the instructions of OPS.

He also condemned the property tax hike of over 150% and the retaliation of the people and said that he was planning to hold protests in the district capitals on the 5th on the advice of the AIADMK leadership.
