He also condemned the property tax hike of over 150% and the retaliation of the people and said that he was planning to hold protests in the district capitals on the 5th on the advice of the AIADMK leadership. Following this, former Minister Udayakumar responded to Minister KN Nehru’s comment that he had levied up to 200% tax during the AIADMK regime. .
