jpnn.com – JAKARTA – French midfielder Adrien Rabiot has officially parted ways with Juventus.
Adrien did not extend his contract with the Old Lady.
“Adrien Rabiot and Juventus have officially parted ways. The French midfielder’s journey in Turin has come to an end after five years,” Juventus wrote on their official website, Thursday (18/7).
“Thank you for everything ‘Cavallo Pazzo’ and we wish you the best for your future,” concluded Juventus’ official statement.
Rabiot first joined Juventus in 2019 after being recruited as a free agent from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Since arriving in Turin in 2019, Rabiot has won one Serie A title, two Italian Cups and one Italian Super Cup.
Rabiot has made 212 appearances and scored 22 goals for Juventus in all competitions. According to European transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Rabiot and Juventus have failed to reach an agreement over a new contract.
Juventus reportedly offered a salary of 7 million euros (around Rp. 123 billion) per year, but this was rejected by Rabiot.
