Lawyer Andrei Podshivalov told how Russian drivers can return money for services imposed by dealers.
The lawyer said that in dealerships, due to services that are not obvious to the average buyer, dealers can charge up a markup on a regular car in the amount of 100% or even 150% of the original cost. Many drivers discover such deception and seek legal assistance.
“If you bought a car with rugs or nets, you can safely go and refund the full amount for these parts, referring to the consumer rights law and the article on returning goods of good quality within 14 days,” – explained the lawyer Podshivalov.
The specialist noted that according to the law, additional equipment should be installed as a gift, and not be sold to drivers.
