Advise the alliance to form a new government

Mano Ganesan, the leader of the Democratic People’s Front and a member of parliament, has said that the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, led by former head of state Maithripala Sirisena, must leave the current government if a new government is to be formed.

He said there was no point in commenting that a new government would be formed from within the government and that he would first request Maithripala Sirisena to leave the government.

The Thaipongal festival was celebrated today at the office of the Democratic People’s Front in Colombo under the leadership of Mano Ganesan.

Mano Ganesan was responding to a question raised by the media after the event. He further commented,

“Sri Lanka is predominantly Tamil in the north, Sinhalese in the south and Muslim in the east. However, the majority of farmers in Sri Lanka.

Fertilizer shortage caused by the activities of the present government has greatly affected those people. However, the government does not seem to see this. ”
